Potter Street Station is owned by the Saginaw Depot Preservation Corporation, a non-profit organization based in Saginaw, MI. The station was designed and built in 1881 by New York architect Bradford Lee Gilbert and, as of November 26, 1996, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
